When one of the superviors asked the DH what he thought of the venue his response was "nice" and when we asked fellow visitors and gamblers what they thought, without hesitation they said "nice". Instead, the casino is more like the original MGM when was when it went through it's family oriented theme park phase. Our first impression was how much brighter it is and I immediately missed the 'eternal night' that is the unwritten rule of Vegas - no clocks, low lights, no sense of time, that Twilight Zone ambience. The comparison to "The Lion" in Vegas will be immediate: it's tamer. Those who have been to ANY of the casinos in Vegas might be disappointed in MGM's contribution to Prince George's County. or to paraphrase: What happened in Vegas, should have stayed in Vegas.
